Stovetop Splatters

What you’ll need:
• Salt
• Spatula or over extended credit card
• Pastry brush or toothbrush
• Microfi ber cloth
• Dishwashing liquid
What You’ll Do For Your Stovetop Splatters
• As soon as it happens, without burning yourself wipe up as much of the spill as possible with a microfiber cloth or sponge.
• While it’s still hot, carefully sprinkle on a thick layer of salt and leave it until the stovetop cools and the splatter has hardened—that is, baked to a crisp.
• Continue cooking—sorry, this splatter is not a pass to order in!
• When cooled, lift away the hardened mixture with a spatula or overextended credit card.
• Use a pastry brush or toothbrush to sweep away any remaining debris.
• Wipe with a damp microfiber cloth and a little dishwashing liquid.
• Resume eating.
